The space
Mountain Thunder Lodge connects directly to the BreckConnect Gondola through a private underground tunnel — and Main Street Breckenridge is steps from the front door. This stylish 2-bedroom is the one guests remember after their stay: it is the gondola tunnel that does it.

The open-concept living space features a gas fireplace, modern furnishings, and alpine decor. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances and generous dining space. The private deck overlooks Park Avenue and delivers fresh mountain air. Air-conditioning fans in every room keep the suite comfortable on warm summer afternoons.

Before your stay, we'll ask you to complete a quick identity verification through our guest portal — it takes just a few minutes and ensures every Gilson stay is seamless and secure. A valid driver's license and rental agreement are all that's needed to confirm your check-in details.

A $250 security deposit is collected prior to arrival — similar to a hotel holding a credit card on file — and released in full after checkout once all access items are returned. Guests may also choose a non-refundable Damage Waiver instead, selected during the pre-arrival verification process.

A great family ski trip to Breck. 10 min walk to the gondola, ski down through the parking lot directly to condo, a short walk to town. The unit was quiet, beds and linen were excellent. Questions were answered promptly. Look forward to coming back.

Clean and Convenient

This unit was very clean and uncluttered which we appreciated very much. The location is also a plus as it is ski-in from the 4 o'clock trail on Peak 8. The bed linens in the master bedroom were above average -- a real plus! However, the unit is overdue for a total refresh as the current condition of everything was disappointing. The check-in process was also delayed as the key cards were not in the lock box per the instructions; however, the property manager responded in a timely manner even after discovering the contact number listed in the description was incorrect. We also had to pay for a property damage waiver which we found unusual as we have never had to pay this fee before. We are responsible adults, so we found this annoying. Overall, we felt the unit was overpriced as we have stayed in nicer units in Mountain Thunder that were less expensive.

great location

great location, nice stay. confusing to check in process as i wasn't approved until the property company sent another email with needing id's. was able to get information prior to checking in. stay was nice, 2 bedrooms with a pullout couch. location was awesome, 1 block walk to gondola, with a trail right to the condo building. would definitely stay here again if i were to ski breck again.
