Activities nearby: In the summer months, the Wurmberg is perfect for longer hikes with a gentle incline. On the way to the summit you can enjoy spectacular views of Braunlage and the Brocken. If you don't want to climb the mountain on foot, you can alternatively take the Wurm cable car up. A nostalgic ride on the narrow-gauge railway up the Brocken is also highly recommended. The nearest train station is in Schierke, 10 kilometers away. In addition, the Rübeland stalactite caves and the Königshütte mine are cultural highlights that you should not miss.
