Great Stay

Came for a graduation and loved my stay at the Glidden House. The woman at check in was terrific as was the bar tender. Loved the music on the patio on Thursday night.

If you visit Case, this is a perfect place to stay. Right on the campus, you can walk to the nearby school building, museum, and musical hall. The room is clean, and breakfast is better than most nearby hotels. The staff is very friendly.

The toilet in my room hadn't been cleaned but housekeeping did come right away and clean it. (The baseboards and corners of the floor haven't been cleaned in a long time.) The carpet was wet near the window so I had to wear shoes in the room. The first morning I enjoyed the yogurt, granola, and berries at breakfast but these were not offered the second morning. You can't beat the location of this hotel for taking advantage of museums and botanical garden and so many other things.

Our favorite hotel in Cleveland Ohio

Glidden House is an excellent boutique hotel to stay. We have visited Cleveland a number of times and stayed in various nicer hotels. The Glidden House is, by far, our favorite place to stay. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are all comfortable and clean. The breakfast is wonderful. The surrounding area of University Circle is a great neighborhood to walk in.

Beautiful place. Felt like staying in an 18th century hotel with modern amenities. Within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping areas, museums and what seemed to be a very nice botanical garden (it was closed). Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed the charm of the Glidden house! The morning breakfast was exceptional and the check in staff were very helpful with questions about the area. They recommended walking to Little Italy for dinner and Mia Bella was amazing! Lots of places to walk to for food. We originally booked here bc it was ‘in walking distance’ of Cleveland Clinic. I do not recommend walking there. Much too far! Uber was so easy though!
