The location of this cabin is excellent! Usually, it was less than 10 minutes to wherever we were going, Because it was off season, traffic was light. We enjoyed the little deck on the cabin, surrounded by the trees. A peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. One caveat, many of these cabins are on steep, hilly roads. Makes walking difficult. Also, you are not guaranteed a parking space right at your cabin. First come, first served. Because of the stairs, getting your luggage in and out could pose a problem for some people. This cabin was pretty clean but definitely dated. The shower was okay but bathroom sink and toilet were really low. The bed was comfortable, but the kitchen set and patio furniture, not so much. Also, no frying pan in the cabin. Had one pot and four lids! We were there a week so we probably did more cooking in the cabin than most people would. The management crew was great, especially Shantel. Great communication and very helpful. Easy access in and out of property. Would highly recommend seeing The Haygoods, Reza, and The Butterfly Palace. St. James Winery was excellent and we also enjoyed Turkey Creek Brewery and Crazy Craig’s Treehouse (bar and grill). Overall, enjoyable trip.
