Potential fell short
The location was great but there was 3 miles of dirt road required to reach out. Property was in a good spot but land was not cared for. Property owners did not have house ready for check in on time—was about an hour late. This late check in was only exasperated due to a broken light in the living room. In addition to this broken light, were missing cabinets, a broken microwave handle, dirty silverware, a missing supply of soaps, towels, or other necessities, lack of any dining room table, etc. As can be exepected in a forest, there was an abundance of bugs that was made worse due to little land maintenance. It was unsafe for pets with numerous ticks. There were hundreds of mosquitoes, roaches in the kitchen, sliver bugs in the bathrooms, and more. It was not what we were expecting based on the listing. It could be better with some work but is currently not worth the price. However, the property manager did try to be as friendly and helpful as possible. Despite this, its not enough for us to ever stay here again.
