Cozy Cottage on South Long

This newly remodeled cozy cabin on South Long Lake features two docks, lots of outside amenities, and a great patio & fire pit area. It is an ideal getaway for fishing and swimming or just getting up the lakes area. There is also a 21ft pontoon to rent if desired. Come and enjoy beautiful south long lake. All your views from this cabin are gorgeous lake views! One level living... the loons are calling!

The Space:
This cabin is beautifully decorated and offers large patio area along with a fire pit area for relaxing watching the sunset. Fully stocked kitchen appliances and utensils for your convenience. Bedroom1 has a queen bed and bedroom2 offers 2 bunkbeds. There is a play loft for kids but should not be used for sleeping. There is good swimming and large yard for outdoor games. The 21ft pontoon is for rent it has a capacity of 8. Guest must provide gas, there are cans in the shed. There is also a Lily Pad Float that you can use during your stay. Lifejackets are on board or in the shed please make sure you have the correct amount. There is a propane grill for your use on the patio.

Lower South Long Lake is located approximately 10 miles south of Brainerd in Crow Wing County of north-central Minnesota. It covers 1,295 acres, which places it in the top 10% of lakes in Minnesota in terms of surface area. Lower South Long Lake has seven inlets and one outlet. It is approximately 47 feet deep at its deepest point.

When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Green Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead, Yellow Perch, Pumpkinseed.
