We had purchased the suite forb3 nights, bathroom was dirty and the toilet didnt work properly. Bedding was old and disgusting. They need to do a better job. The night manager complained all the time about his job and pay.

Not so clean

This hotel is rough around the edges and is showing its age. That would not be so bad, but the room was not clean. There was mold in the shower, drips and water marks on the bedside tables. The bed looked like someone had slept on it after it was made. When I brought it to management's attention, the manager expressed his dissatisfaction with the cleaner and the cleaner was defensive.

Once we entered the room we could not leave the room because the locking mechanism malfunctioned. When we wanted to leave the room we had to call the front desk to get assistance (from the hallway) to open the door. If there had been a fire we had no way to exit. Also, the television in the room was broken, did not work properly in that the only thing we could get was voice/sound. The side entrance sidewalk was cracked and uneven and had pulled away from the curb which created a 3" gap which was a trip hazard. The window drapes were held closed with the clips on a pants hanger. In summary, over past decades we have previously stayed at the Country Inn and therefore have seen the building "age" to the point that it needs some intense maintenance, and inspection via the local fire department.

Room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Pillows and bedspread were messy. Toilet didn’t always flush. Breakfast was meager. Room smelled of cigarettes and was humid even with the air conditioning on. Way way too expensive for this room!!

Ok if you’re not fancy

My room was ok, the shower head didn’t fit into the fixture so I had to hold it while showering. The bed wasn’t super comfortable and there were crumbs on the floor around the bed. The breakfast was not great and the coffee was like coffee flavored water. I was thankful for the Holiday and coffee shop in town. Overall, it was just fine for my solo trip as I spent the majority of my time out enjoying the scenery of the state park.

You get what you pay for

The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There were only 3 pillows which were extremely flat. The fitted sheet did not cover the entire mattress. There was no blanket on the bed.The sink did not drain at all. The breakfast is minimal, cereal, pancakes and yogurt.

The place was run by a woman & two men who were very odd. The place was in shambles. Little to no food for the continental breakfast. Ice machine did not work, fan in bathroom not working, shower head was broken, pillows were horrible, lumpy, flat & pillow cases were dingy. We were very unsatisfied with the whole experience. The building needs many repairs!

not a great experience

I was disappointed, after reading rave reviews. The hotel is desperately in need of upgrades. My room could be described as shabby. The furniture had clearly not been dusted in a while. SInce the ice machine was broken, I had to get it from the front desk. The continental breakfast was okay. The two employees with whom I dealt, the front desk attendant and a very accommodating young man who helped me to get into my room because my key card didn't work, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I was very surprised that a sign on the door in my room said that, due to COVID protocols, the room would not be cleaned, the beds re-made, the trash emptied, or towels replaced unless I made specific requests. Are we not over COVID at this point? The location was convenient to my travel plans, but I will not be recommending this hotel to others.
