Disliked: Cleanliness
The location was great. But it was down hill from there. There was sand in the bed to start. We went to change the sheets and there wasn't a spare set so we had to wash them right then. We had a spill and couldn't find anything to clean up with. We called ahead of time and asked about Beach chairs and umbrellas because we were flying in. We were told there was none provided. When we got there we were about to rent a bunch of things for a few hundred dollars. Luckily it turns out the person we spoke to was completely wrong. The kitchen was lacking almost all basic items. Every rental we've ever had always had basic amenities to get you ready for the first couple days, but the apartment was lacking with no coffee filters and we had to to buy large size things for short stays (salt, pepper etc) which seems awfully wasteful. The kitchen lacked almost all basic accessories including measuring cups , grill utensils and any kind of pitchers or mixing bowls. There were 3 blenders .. all were broken. Beach vacation apartment with no blenders or pitchers or anything. But one thing the house had plenty of was cockroaches. HUGE HUGE cockroaches in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. We understand Florida has big bugs but the amount inside the house was unacceptable. We had no place else to stay and not enough time to change plans. Staying on the house was gross .. felt like bugs crawling on you as soon as you put the lights out ..
