Will not ever stay agin. Showed up at 2 pm two cars in parking lot. Checked in and was told your room is ready but if you want in it before 4 pm I would need to pay $40. Seriously!!!!???? Ridiculous

Awful experience. When I checked in at 7:00pm the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was debris on the floor. Garbage in the can. Chairs all over the place. Bath towels on the floor of the shower. The hairdryer and tissue container in the bathroom sink. I went down and told the desk clerk. He argued with me the towels were clean (!) and just put there by the painting crew. He said he’d have the room cleaned. I went out to a commitment for two hours. When I returned two hours later he handed me a stack of towels and told me just put the others outside the door. He also told me the toilet paper roll wasn’t changed because of tariffs. Yes. Tariffs. The room wasn’t cleaned in that time even after giving them grace to do so. Not a thing was fixed. I was exhausted so I just dealt with it. Only to realize the room was filled with paint fumes. I woke several times in the night feeling suffocated from them and a sore throat. Who paints a room and has guests in it an hour later? If it hadn’t been so late I would have left. Plus? There was no help or apology when I first brought it to their attention, so why bother? In the morning the hot breakfast consisted of self made waffles and biscuits and gravy. They had cereal but no milk. It was fine. Wasn’t expecting much. Coffee and juice were fine. I left with a migraine all day and a sore throat from the fumes. I can see on most days if the room has been taken care of and time for the fumes to dissipate it’d be better.

I don’t know the name of the front desk associate that checked me in but have to say…he was incredible! Very nice and friendly. Made check in a breeze. As to the hotel itself, wonderful! I usually stay at the Holiday Inn, I’m a college student from out of town and I come to Bowling Green a few times a semester to do lab competencies, but will definitely be coming to stay here from now on. Our room is so clean, and makes you feel right at home. The price is great. Also the hotel is pretty close to everything. Will definitely recommend!

I made a reservation for six days. On day 5 before 11:00AM I informed the hotel that my plans had changed and i would not be staying the last night. They refused my request and charged me for the room and taxes and fees. I would stay away from hotels like this one that are very unscrupulous.
