Decent place to stay.

Red Roof Inn and Suites Cave City was a decent place to stay. The room was fairly clean and the door locked well. There were some noise folks late at night (maybe Spring Break?), but the overall place was rather quiet. No breakfast, but there are some breakfast options nearby. No bugs in the room, and the beds were OK.

I was traveling through on the way to Florida with my two kids. I was unfamiliar with the area but I felt very safe. The outdoor lights stayed lit all night which added to my comfort and the doors had 3 different ways to lock. I would definitely stay here again.

My room was very clean. There were restaurants right across the road. With in minutes of Mammoth Cave and several other caves. Very easy to get in and out of the property.

Highway Robbery at the Red Roof!

Two stars because at least the roof didn't leak. Seriously, though, for the price we paid at this place, I expected MUCH more. This place is charging premium prices for what amounts to a very basic, borderline run-down room. The amenities are sparse: think thin towels, questionable cleanliness, and a continental breakfast that consisted mainly of sugary cereals and stale pastries. Honestly, the room itself felt dated and overpriced. The furniture was worn, the paint was peeling in places, and the overall atmosphere was just… disappointing. I've stayed in cheaper motels that offered a better experience. Unless you're absolutely desperate and every other hotel in the area is booked, I'd seriously consider driving a little further and finding a better value for your money. The Red Roof Inn & Suites Cave City is simply not worth the price they're charging.

The experience would have been amazing but the room never did quite heat up and the temperature outside was about 10 degrees so I froze the entire night I was cold and it just wouldn't the room would just was just not good and warm
