Convienient location near an expressway and multiple food options. Easy check-in. The motel property wasn't the cleanest - garbage cans were full, random litter here and there - but it wasn't bad either. The room we stayed in was adequate and felt/looked clean. The beds were comfortable.

There are a lot of budget-friendly hotels in Cave City. This one is well-managed, and seems to be family-run. Rooms have had recent updates to bathroom and flooring. We stayed on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. The area that used to have a pool is a nice big grass lawn, perfect for kiddos to run around after a long road trip, or for dogs to chase after balls or frisbees. Unusual, and a nice amenity. We travel often and I am usually disappointed with the hotel coffee, too strong/bitter. Not at this Red Roof Inn! There is lots of delicious coffee available, and a separate area to drink it and whatever you brought/bought for breakfast, if you don't want to eat in your room.

Do NOT stay here!

The pictures on hotels.com and what the hotel actually looked like was not the same. Very misleading. Blinds were off the windows as that is the first thing you see pulling in. Paint was peeling off the wall and the lobby smelled awful. Never even made it to our room because these things were so bad.

We needed an overnight stop on our family road trip that was clean and affordable. These rooms were nicely updated and comfortable, and it was convenient to have the Cracker Barrel and coffee shop within walking distance.
