Very busy. Rooms to hot and loud music in the bar. Ok for the price and the staff are great

A decent enough, clean hotel. Quite tired and shabby, in need of an update and some TLC. Staff were friendly and helpful, but breakfast needed more staff as the poor lady managing all the tables on her own was a bit overwhelmed. Perfect for what I needed which was an overnight stay for a wedding.
I have stayed here on numerous occasions and particularly the staff are kind and very helpful, they have treated me with respect on every occasion.

We had a proplem when we go out to access back to our room with the card access, noisy in the morning with cigogne , people slaming doors not quiet people, not respecting when we sleeping early in the morning. not comfortable bed
Poor quality hotel - very tired and shabby. Charged the extortionate price of 289 for one night and it was daylight robbery. Poor amenities in room, so disappointing.

We stayed in a family room which was on the third floor. The both lifts were out of order and had been for sometime apparently. This made it a bit tricky with 2 children's stuff for 2 days and having to carry it up 2 flights of stairs. The hotel itself is looking tired in places. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast was good and varied. The worst bit is there is no air conditioning. The room was stifling. We were supplied with one fan which did little to help on the hottest weekend of the year so far. We used the pool which was refreshing and again a little tired especially in the changing rooms especially. The bar was reasonably priced as was the dinner price (which we didn't have). It was obviously a popular place for groups. You can walk the 30 minutes to the seafront and parking is free unlike the town which is extortionate. It's in need of an upgrade and air con for us to use again.
Our room was dated, and also had dog food on the carpet - can’t believe they put you in a pet food without warning as people have allergies. On check in someone was checking in with a 9 week kitten. The room we were in can’t have been properly cleaned. The breakfast isn’t work £10 each. Expensive for what it is.
As other reviews said, hotel is dated. Carpeted everywhere, stuffy, straight out of the 70's. It felt like a retirement home rather than a hotel.
Room was unbearably hot at night, neither my husband nor I could really get to sleep. We were provided with one fan which was vastly inadequate to cool a family size room. Combined with the inability to open the window more than a crack nor plug the fan closer to the window to draw in cold air, this was by far the worst stay ever.
Please don't book this hotel for your own sanity, no matter how cheap you are feeling.
Presentation of the property was poor, on entering the hotal it looked dated and very tied. Once we got the keys and aimed for the lift to find out it was out of order as well as the inside pool they had on other huge diserpointment. On entering the room it was distusting stains on the floor ,horrible human stains on the bedsheets and quilt

Is not that it's not kept clean. it's just that its an old tired building in need of updating. The staff were fantastic though. Had a few issues (of my own making) and despite being very busy, they couldn't have been nicer. I hope they are well paid. Parking is a bit sketchy and only 1 space left.
