Excellent property

Great location, just as listed, plenty of amenities, clean. Once I arrived the points of contact in the community were very helpful. I would stay there again for sure. My only feedback was more the 3rd party “angel host” that managed the booking. They would send erroneous emails, provide In accurate info, require to use other sites outside of Vrbo,

Poor communication, broken internet and other problems

So I filled out the on-line forms for the check in process but we were never contacted about the check in process. When we arrived the internet access did not work, we were provided the wrong passwords multiple times. When we went to a local grocery store,, where the proprietor allowed us access to the internet. The ‘angle host’ was unhelpful repeatedly providing the wrong internet passwords, the local host was unresponsive. We were finally able to access the internet from a maintenance worker on the 2nd day and then variation testing of passwords with brute force. The request to meet with the local manager, Britney, at 7p on our 2nd day through VRBO was met with “I’m not aware of this” after a text asking about the no show. They provided only 1 roll of toilet paper for a 4 day stay, the TP dispenser was no existent, the shower threshold was install to eject water into the bathroom floor (not back into the shower, there was no dish soap, we found a massive spider in the bathroom, ants were on nearly every surface in every room, and exposed electrical wires at the stove and where for range hood microwave was partially installed. The biggest problem was the lack of communication with the hosts, both with the inability to connect to the internet and the apparent unwillingness of the hosts to respond on phone numbers they provided. All in all, would not recommend this host or their poorly run properties. The island and the other people we encountered were excellent.
