The hotel is in a good location 10 minutes walk from Boston town centre.
The room was large with a lovely view of the river.
It had everything we needed but another chair would be nice to sit and watch the boats go by.
Continental breakfast was fine.
Free parking at the hotel.
However on the night we stayed there was a private party in the bar.
The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other or the TV so we had to go for walk. No chance of a drink in the bar unfortunately.
On check in we were told the music would finish at 11pm. Unfortunately this didn't happen and it was after midnight before it went off.
Then there was another period of loud arguments outside.
A Grade 2 listed building with an Indian restaurant. Bags of character classic style. Clean but very tired and Hot with limited ventilation. The Indian restaurant was of good quality the service in the restaurant and hotel was excellent. The breakfast was disappointing. Low quality ingredients. And limited choice. Easy parking.
Especially clean, staff were nice and professional, thankfully they had two fans in the cupboard as the room we were in was sweltering but it was one of the hottest days of the year so far didn’t have breakfast but it looked liked a good spread (Continental). The restaurant was busy on check in which says a lot about the food which is supposed to be brilliant so will deffo try next time.
Bed wasn’t the comfiest but all in all would recommend the hotel and would be happy to take the family back 😬
A real pleasant surprise and enjoyable considering the reason for our visit. The was clean, the complementary in room refreshment were plentiful. We did have one small the room was really warm and room supplied fan was not working. After speaking with a member of staff this was soon rectified. The shower was a dream simple controls and plenty of room without needing to be a contortionist to shower.
The food was exceptional and excellent value for money. Try the salmon in a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus finished off in a white creamy sauce absolutely delicious at a fair honest price. The menu was varied with fresh of vegetables a rarity these days when you'll be lucky to get microwave peas. If I was going to be nick pick I would have loved to have seen a pint of real ale instead of all the foreign beers that breweries think we all like. Being a local lad a Good honest pint of Bateman's to showcase what Lincolnshire has offer. If not on the pump bottled IPA or XXXB. This little group of local hotels is credit to the area. And finally a heart felt thank you to all the staff you made stay a pleasant and we will be back.
We booked two single rooms over two nights and enjoyed our stay.
A really nice hotel, very clean and comfortable at a reasonable price.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The hotel decor was first class, looked as though it had recently been refurbished.
A first class bar with comfortable sofas, we really liked that!!!
The food served in the restaurant wasn't that expensive and was really good.
A big car park to the side of the hotel which was a plus as we were touring on our motorcycles and wanted security for them.
The Town Centre wasn't that far either, probably a 10 minute walk.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Hotel. I will certainly book again.
Great hotel, lovely staff. But kitchen staff played music too loudly in the morning.. not great!
Staff really friendly and welcoming. Really looked after me
Great reception and hosts keen to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. As there was a function in the hotel that night we were offered the opportunity to move with our friends to the Katrina Suite, a modern 2 bedroom flat, a couple of minutes away. This was perfect for us and we were able to walk to the hotel for a lovely breakfast the next morning Parking was available and easy.
The hotel was clean and the en suite was quite astonishing, but the room was far too hot, which the staff explained was because of an old boiler. A basic breakfast was provided but none of the tables was laid, which made it confusing as to where we should sit.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Overnight business stay.
A little bit daunting as a solo traveller having to walk through a packed pub most of whom were males.
The room I was given didn’t have any bedding on so I was upgraded to a double room.
Staff were very apologetic.
Pretty basic but nice. Friendly staff and easy check in. Breakfast is a small but sufficient buffet with breakfast sandwiches made to order. Not 5* luxury but more than happy with it for a one night stay
