Surprised by good reviews. Filthy easy fixes - elevator buttons dirty, yellow grout in shower with obvious dirt, could see ledge of sink in bathroom was covered with mildew on underside, hair in bathroom, curtain had a panel totally ripped off with top remnants still hanging. Mattress had a clear indent in the middle. Very nosy heating with constant ticks. Restaurant breakfast service slow with less than 5 tables occupied. Evening front desk agent was great. I asked for my bill from the morning agent. Initially, he read me my charges, misquoted the charges and wasn’t sure when I asked about a charge. Had to ask for the bill twice and my impression was he was trying to hide something by not providing and misrepresenting details. They don’t use or they had a service elevator issue and we waited for an elevator more than 5 minutes one day of stay with elevators coming by with housekeepers and food/bev staff filling the entire elevator. Odd. Wouldn’t return.

Hotel was great, however the reason for booking the hotel was for the supposed Christmas popup bar. No one had any idea what I was talking about, all I got was they put things in the website that doesn’t exist? Waiter was not any help at restaurant that was to have the pop up. It stated 4-9 7 days a week until Christmas . I found it again in the elevator , again no answers. It also stated online there was a rooftop bar. It never said summer only. There are plenty of rooftop bars that have heaters or igloos. They had no response for that. It was a big part of our stay and staff and website should be more informed. The hotel was a nice clean hotel and food was good, would have stayed elsewhere had

Arrived at 11 am and was able to check in. Staff was friendly and helpful and recommended a great pizza spot. Pretty lobby. Nice room with view of the city. The hotel bar was great : delicious apps and drinks. Perfect location for a weekend in Boston.

We had cocktails at the Rebel's Guild that is a great space to relax and connect. The lobby has a wonderful water machine that dispenses a range of options. It has sparkling water with a host of flavors as well as hot water for tea. That was a great surprise and access is 24/7.
