This place is overpriced for what it is. There is a saying in construction when you try to update something poor a quick fix, it's called putting lipstick on a pig. This place made me think of it. The furniture in the hotel rooms, and lobby are so stained. The carpets feel dirty and worn out. Some pieces of furniture are so dinged up that they look like they are second hand. The linens and bathrooms were clean but just kinda gross at the same time. It's expensive for what it is, plus they charge for parking and breakfast. This place was a fine place to crash for one night going thru town but I wouldn't stay here again.

I was very disappointed with our room and have cleaner hotel rooms in smaller hotels like Best western and Holiday inn. Upon using the bathroom, there was hair on the floor that was not ours. I also noted that the floor was still dirty. When trying to call the front desk, the phone didn't work. So I had to walk downstairs to tell the front desk. They did send someone to clean it but still wasn't very clean. We were so tired that I just wanted to shower and get my toddler to bed since it was already 9 am. In the morning I noticed way more things that were dirty and sub par for being a "Hilton". There were drip lines down the wall, the corner of the floor by the tub was dirty, there was food under the nightstand (metal wire) that was not ours, the cabinet had food streaked on it, not enough towels, etc. When we checked in, they told us breakfast was included and the times. Well, we sat down for a very mediocre breakfast (Best Western has a better breakfast and more options for the price) and was hit with a $50 bill. When I asked the front desk about it the lady tried to tell me that she checked me in and that she did not tell me that. I was able to describe the lady and supposedly she is the manager, so she "also definitely would not have told me that either". I told her that I was very unhappy between this and our room. She proceeded to tell me they fixed it, they didn't. Then lectured me for not calling them and I reminded her the phone was broken. Was very disappointing

The so-called “breakfast” was barely edible—stale bread, lukewarm eggs, and watery juice that tasted like it had been sitting out for days. The staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful, treating every basic request like an inconvenience. The overall atmosphere was grimy and chaotic, and it’s clear that cleanliness and customer service are not even a remote priority here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—even for a single night.

Close to Cambridge, loveliest team day and night!

I spent three weeks at the Freepoint and have to say it was a real home-from-home. The hotel team were wonderful. The day staff friendly, helpful and fun, and the night staff the same - while also being very supportive of my journey to learning how to play pool! The bar wasn’t open during our stay but the team yet is bring a bottle of wine and a take out to the pool table area so we didn’t need to eat in our room. The hotel is conveniently located for Harvard, as well as other Cambridge and Boston places. There is a Dunkin’ right around the corner and a plethora of other food places and stores nearby, including a climbing gym and a cinema, so if you’re here for work you’ll also be able to wind down. Would definitely stay again when I’m back at Harvard for work. Thanks for having us!

It was fine. I didnt like housekeeping entered my room even while Privacy hanger was on the door. Half cleaned... i didn't understand it & i didn't like it. After i told the front desk, it didnt happen again. Restaurant closed in evening.
