Fairly standard hotel. Unfortunately, the rates in Cambridge and surrounding areas are extremely expensive. While this hotel is at the lower end of the price range, paying over $300 a night for this location is a hard pill to swallow. Of course, there are lots of add on charges -parking $25, water, etc.

We stayed at the Freepoint Hotel for some sports camps at Tufts and Harvard. The location is great with short, easy drives to both schools. The hotel is near a lot of great restaurants and there is a 2.25 - 2.50 mile running trail across the street which is great for anyone looking to exercise during their stay. Finally, there is a whole foods within walking distance for any grocery needs. We would definitely stay here again.

I had some unwanted guest in town that I was trying to avoid . So I booked this place for a one night stay . It’s clean , quiet , small but if you need somewhere super quick and clean /quiet to get away this place is good choice.

Whole Foods is right next door to property and Trader Joe’s is across the street. Room was a little dated, shower pressure was low and tissue ran out on first day.

Overall a great stay. Staff was friendly. The room was quite nice. There was a couch in our room, which was nice. I liked the way the bathroom looked. It also had a nice shower.

Room service, theoretically anywsy. Tmi was told that they offered room service every other day. I checked in Wednesday; by friday i asked for new towels and more water. Saturday i asked then to empty the trash. I never got room service per se!!! Restaurant was awful. Thsnk goodness for the attached Starbucks.

Easy access to Cambridge & Boston with Whole Foods & Starbucks next door and Trader Joe’s across the street. Facility was clean and nicely appointed. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally welcoming. I’d stay here again.
