The Space:
This is a cozy 3 bedroom 1.5 bath which just got renovated.

Please note the property is on the second floor and third floor. Please be advised if you or someone you're traveling has trouble with stairs.

The building has a very slight lean due to it's age (very common in Salem).

This can be seen in areas throughout the house, so please be aware.

Great host and great stay! Host was good with communication regarding check in and check out and the parking situation. The stay was clean and in walking distance to Downtown Salem. A short walk to the beach! Overall great and super fun stay! Totally do it again!!

Great location with the town within walking distance. House was very clean however pictures don’t really show the place. The full bathroom is extremely small and half bath is in a bedroom so only used by those in that bedroom. Stairs are very narrow and floors not level in most rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay. We ended up in Salem, it was not our original search and happened upon this location. So glad we did. We parked the car and didn’t move it until we left. Easily walkable l that Salem has to offer. In my mind, it’s typical older New England home, after 200 years of settling, nothing is plumb, but that, for us, was charming. Not easy for larger stature or heavier folks as facilities are small, but perfect for us! Thank you, we really enjoyed the area.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The entrance access was unacceptable. Our Daughter cancelled her trip due to an injured knee. It's a good thing too, because there is no way she could have navigated to steep, narrow and twisting entrance. The downstairs bathroom was comically cramped, so much so as to make use of the commode nearly impossible for my 6ft height. The upstairs commode seat was basically free floating. I tried to manually tighten the seat and the bolts would not grip. I emailed the proprietor and did not receive any reply. Any positives for the property were negated by awful design of both the entrance and the bathroom facilities. Additionally, there was only the single cramped exit from the apartment. I wonder if that is even legal.
