Look the other way

After I pre checked into the hotel, came to the counter, and they said they lost my room, after a few minutes I get assigned to a room, and am told “hopefully it is clean for you.” We had a concert to go to so we were crunched for time. The room wasn’t as clean as it should be. Refrigerator was broke. This room was suppose to accommodate 5 people, and it did not. I asked for more blankets and pillows and was told I need to go to the front to get them my self. The pull out mattress might be 2 inches thick. Was also told by email, there will be a complementary breakfast until 9:30. I go down at 8:45 and was told no breakfast. I would highly discourage anyone from staying here. $330 for a “suite” room is not worth it.

The only issue we had was that the elevator was weirdly placed a fairly far distance from the lobby and then our room was an even larger hike. My husband is disabled and walks with crutches.

There is nowhere to get coffee after 10am which is when we woke up. The bar/restaurant/ Starbucks was always closed. They were not ready for check ups n at 3 so long lines for a long time to get checked in.

I’m glad you asked. If there was a rating lower than terrible we would have chosen it. We live in Western CT, a two and a half plus hour drive to Gillette Stadium. I reserved a room months ago to stay in on May 4th after an AC/ DC concert at Gillette Stadium. We arrived there at 4:00 PM to check in and there was a line of twenty to thirty people waiting outside to check in as the people waiting wouldn’t fit in the lobby. We waited for an hour plus, and the line didn’t move. No employee ever came out to explain what the problem was or apologize. One person in line told us that he had checked in two hours ago and they still didn’t have a room ready for him. We were not able to check in so we left, and ended up driving an hour plus to Sturbridge after the concert and got a hotel there after 2:00 AM. I had better not be charged for the room, if I do I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. This was completely unacceptable, and you had a long line of irate customers that were in the same situation as us. After many years of business and pleasure traveling, I have never experienced anything like this, even in much, much cheaper economy motels. You ruined a fun evening we had planned months in advance. They could have offered a room overlooking the lawn + courtyard instead of the parking lot. Walls are thin we heard the next door neighbors talking. Shower gel dispenser in shower was empty.wepty.Nonextvdoor

Check in took an hour and 1/2. If you knew you were full that day for the concert you should have had staff . Then had to ask for sheets and blankets for pull out couch.

Basic, clean, fine overall

The hotel was basic but fine. It was clean and in a pleasant area. What ruined the stay for us is that there was a lot of noise one night of our stay from a particularly loud partying group that went to 4am. The hotel is too small to not notice the noise, there should not have been any need to call a noise complaint before they dealt with it. We called at 00:30 and again at 4am before the noise subsided.
