The rooms were much smaller than normal rooms. I guess because it’s in the city. Paying for parking could be cheaper when you are staying as a guest.

Disappointed and inconvenienced that there was no mini-refrigerator or microwave in room. Trash cans in room way to small (even for one, conservative, guest - can't imagine what it would be like for two or more guests staying in one room. Not sure that I'm 100% on board with the bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower - it kind of seems it could be a health/safety issue - anyone could open and taint the content of the bottles - yes, it is convenient in the way of ease of use, as compared to the small personal bottles provided in the past, but I don't feel totally comfortable with the safety of it. Regarding security deposit - since guest is charged $160 upon check-on, I'd expct that $160 back in my bank account at time of check-out, and not days later. Bathroom lighting could be a lot better. The pull-string window shade isn't the easiest/quickest to open and close. Otherwise, the room was decent, bed and linens seemingly clean, and comfortable. Decent water pressure, and plenty of nice, hot water when needed.

The front desk staff was very welcoming. The lobby lovely. The room was neat. Bathroom was small but clean . However, it was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in . The only decent sleep I got was when I arrived and took a 1/2 nap before venturing out. The first evening there was so much noise in the hallways. We had a beautiful view but and the street noise almost sounded like it was in my room. Very thin walls and windows kept no noise out . I was exhausted the next day but enjoyed a long day in the city looking forward to a nights rest before our early flight the next day . No chance of that . Whomever came in next door at 10:45 pm , I heard word for word their conversation. I know more than I need to know about their needing to go to the restroom (in words I won’t repeat), the Red Sox ( LONG. Discussion) AI, recipes , etc. I called the front desk asking if they could send someone to ask them to be quieter. I do not think anyone came because I would have heard the conversation if they had . Very thin walls . At 12:16am they exited their room ( loud bang of the door) and I thought maybe they were going out for drinks but then returned at 12:25am and turned on the TV along with conversation . Finally around 3:00am I was able to get some sleep before my 5:45am wake up for our flight home. Unfortunately, because of the noise, I can not recommend this hotel. For the amount of money I paid two nights of no sleep, I cannot recommend. I slept on my flight home !

The front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. The building itself is historic and has charm to it. Convenient parking garage across the street. Room was smaller but cozy for a couple. Would definitely stay again!
