Was looking for a place to stay during our Jays /Red Sox games that was walking distance to Fenway park plus close to the subway as we were flying into Logan International Airport. The Arcadian was perfect, green "C" line was right across from hotel. Walk was about 10/15 mins on beautiful Beacon street to Fenway. Hotel room was a little different then the big chains, small and no natural light windows but was clean and had a modern bathroom. We had an excellent stay and would come back here next time in Boston.

The hotel is in a good area, very clean a safe. The only thing is that the air conditioning was bad. The first night didn't turn on. The handy man of the hotel fix it but in the next night stop working again. The other thing was the breakfast, they have to offer more variety of food.

I had a reservation for 2 Queen Room, however the person during checking said she don’t have any available and put us in King bed room in the corner without any windows, it was dark room, smelly one. I did asked for different room and wasn’t mentioned that all are booked, however, throughout our stay for 5 Days there were plenty of rooms available (2 Queen Bed) on our floor itself as I was able to see it every time I am walking through the isle. I asked for premium suite, Arcadian Suite, but they were all lying, one person said nothings available, second person said they have plenty of rooms available and I will have to pay the difference (which I agreed to), the third person then gave excuse that AC is not working in any of those rooms. All were lying, we felt’s racism against us. We definitely don’t recommend to use this place.

Nice safe area.. about a mile from fenway and 2 miles from north Station. The rooms were very dark, almost so you can't see how dirty they are.

Great staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Bathrooms are dated but clean. However, I was unaware that most of the units did not have windows to the exterior, which was not clear in the booking. If this makes you uncomfortable, like it did me, consider asking for a room with exterior windows or staying elsewhere.

Good for Fenway game walkable which made it worth it but the toilet smelled like it was backed up when we went into room. It didn’t get any better and when you sat on the toilet it felt like it wasn’t attached to the floor. Very minimalist hotel room. Breakfast was crowded with grab and go options.

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The morning continental breakfast was good- bagels, cereal, and fruit (apples, oranges or bananas). The spinach cheese croissant was great! There was a large area for eating or just hanging out during the day after breakfast ended. Coffee and water available all day and there was a microwave you could use as well in the breakfast area. Great location to hop on a train or bus. We walked to BU and Northeastern from here.

Tower room better than the Townhouse room

The “townhouse” room we originally booked was not acceptable, with the windows opening onto a hallway. Very claustrophobic. But both the hotel and Hotels.com agreed to let me purchase an upgrade to a “tower” room that was just spacious and much brighter. Excellent bed and nice shampoo/body wash. Convenient to the Angell animal hospital.
