My only complaint was the limited hours the office was open. I stayed 4 nights. There was enough coffee in the room for 1 night. I called for more coffee and was told to come to the office to get it myself. The event I was there for started early and ran late into the day. I made a few trips to the office before I found them open. I also was not too impressed with the lack of lighting on the premises. I understand BS is a dark sky community but it was dangerous to navigate the premises in the dark. Overall, I was satisfied and will come back. I will bring a flashlight and get more coffee at check in.

Restaurant food selection on the premises and front office hours are fairly limited. But clean and quiet and very close to the Anza Borrego visitor center and there are good restaurants nearby in town. No breakfast options on the premises. Clever layout resembles an Old West town.

Sanctuary in the desert

This hotel stay was a definite pleasure. It had an extra sink and two additional mirrors outside the restroom area that were particularly convenient. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We even had a balcony off the room to view the full moon. I highly recomment this lodge.

Overpriced

The rooms are better inside than they used to be but overpriced and have a smell. Outside, the buildings are in terrible condition and my husband fell on the deteriorated stairway.

Very noisy cleaning staff. Loud talking. Blaring music. Try taking a nap with that racket! Bees in the pool. The exterior of the place is looking pretty run down. Ran out of hot water on Tuesday morning shower. It’s not like this place is a bargain. Where is the money going??
