The Neighborhood:
The Fog Getaway 1 by Tiny Away is in Boolambayte, just 10 minutes from Bulahdelah and 45 minutes from Forster, NSW. This area offers plenty of water activities like boating, fishing, paddling, and surfing. It’s a great base for exploring the Barrington Coast, with whale watching, scuba diving, and sailboarding nearby.
Our local recommendations include Myall Lakes National Park, which is great for hiking, kayaking, and fishing. Boomerang Beach in Pacific Palms is famous for its boomerang shape and is a top surfing spot. Seal Rocks is a quiet seaside village that captures the spirit of the Barrington Coast.
Coomba Park, near Pacific Palms, is a peaceful lakeside area by Wallis Lake and Wallingcat National Park. Elizabeth Beach, located in Booti Booti National Park, is a calm, north-facing beach perfect for families.
Getting Around:
By car:
- From Sydney, its a 2 hours and 50 minutes drive.
- Reachable by both 2WD and 4WD.
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- No outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill, and firewood
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is only allowed at outside of the tiny house
- Mobile reception has good signals for all telco companies.
- Expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
