Nice but check-in not smooth

Nice room and good facilities in the kitchen, although there was no chopping board or sharp knife that I could find. Check in was a little more difficult, there is no reception open at the weekend and as in other reviews, it seems to be a consistent problem that the check in code needed for the automated check in is not sent. Despite being sent a message saying 'use the number below to check in', no number is then given. This means you have to call the suster hotel to get your number. They were very helpful and it wqs sorted quickly but if this is a recuring problem then maybe it should be fixed? And there is no option for luggage storage, at least when the reception is closed.

Fine place to stay, but this is not a hotel

This is not an hotel, but more of an apartment, as it does not have a permament reception and very limited services beyond the room. I was not aware of this when I made the booking. This does make check-in quite difficult if you arrive after the reception had closed. The rooms are well appointed and the place is close to major transport routes. The room has a small kitchen and there are drinks and snacks available from vending machines.

Kein Personal vor Ort

Das Konzept - kein Personal vor Ort - muss vorher kommuniziert werden! Das ist grundsätzlich ja okay, wenn man es a. weiß und b. auch nur dann, wenn man nicht vor Ort etwas mit einem Menschen klären muss. In unserem Fall, wurde ein Koffer in ein falsches Zimmer gestellt, was nachts dann eine Stunde dauerte, bis jemand da war, sich kümmern konnte und der Koffer wieder auftauchte. Eine Stunde, die man nicht schlafen konnte. Unschön.

An excellent choice

The stay was very pleasant. We saw last minute some comments about the noise pollution from the train but was almost unnoticeable. Actually we enjoyed the train. The window view was somehow soothing. Everything was blooming and the many bicycles passing by was very calming. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful. The room was very cute and in great condition.

Leider zu warme Zimmer plus Bahnlinie

Das Hotel ist eigentlich in Ordnung. Es ist sehr sauber und modern. Leider ist es in den Zimmern viel zu warm und unmöglich nachts die Fenster zu öffnen, da die stark frequentierte Bahnlinie direkt am Hotel vorbei führt. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, keine Alternative im Sommer. Suspekt war, dass zusätzlich die Heizung im Bad in der Nacht anspringt (August). Die geschlossenen Fenster dämmen den Krach, so dass ich eine Unterbringung außerhalb des Sommers nochmals in Erwägung ziehen würde.
