Sav Hotel Bologna

I travelled here as part of a holiday to Italy. This hotel was amazing, clean fresh rooms. Breakfast was buffet style with a big selection of warm food, continental breakfast, fresh bread and pastries. All delicious.

Hotel OK, good breakfast with plenty of options. Location is convenient as it’s very close to the bus stop. 30min walking to Bologna city centre or 15min by bus Cleaning services were quite annoying since it took 1h to clean our room.

Simone and the front desk staff were amazing, accommodating me with an early check in when my luggage was lost. Restaurant staff were pleasant as well. Only suggestion would be free delivery for rooftop requested meals and mosquito treatment on the rooftop as well. Would stay again.

Not within walking distance to main attractions. The shower curtain didn’t retain water properly and appeared unhygienic, which was disappointing. There were coffee capsules provided, but no machine, and I was told it’s only available in upgraded rooms. Overall, a decent stay for a short stop, but there’s room for improvement.

This hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spacious and so was the room. A mini fridge and a kettle and some coffee was provided which was very nice. Bed was comfortable and big. Lots of lights so helpful to read book at night. Air conditioning was great. Not too far from station or city center. Bus stop near. Aldi close by literally 5 min walk.

beautiful hotel. we stayed here, for a couple of days, after finishing our cruise in ravenna. the decor is very modern and the rooms are really nice. it reminded me of a nice casino hotel, on the room floors. it’s walking distance to the train station, which is in the center city. also, a short drive to the bologna airport. i would recommend and would stay here again.

The staff were absolutely excellent throughout, particularly Guilia on the front desk. Every single member of staff was so helpful and delightful. This very much feels like a conference hotel and is there to serve a purpose. Somewhat like an Ibis in the UK. The immediate area is not terribly salubrious and we took a cab into the cent which cost around €25.

The staff here were all really friendly and very helpful. We’re not Italian speakers but the staff had excellent English so this wasn’t a problem. The rooms were very clean and well equipped and room service came in every day. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and a good variety of things to choose from. We spent time at the rooftop jacuzzi area which was a very pleasant place to sit and relax.

Nice modern room. NOISY!! Noise from adjacent rooms high. Noise from garden events awful. Make sure your room is the other side. Breakfast 7/10. Restaurant 5/10. Very good location for Exhibition centre. Poor location for tourism. I won’t stay here again.

It's a great hotel, with attentive staff and good service. Breakfast has a lovely variety of foods. Our room had a shower partition with a broken seal which leaked onto the bathroom floor but I reported to management and they'll probably fix it going forward. Didn't try the rest of the facilities (gym etc.)
