La Casa Magenta by Wonderful Italy
Elegant and bright frescoed apartment in the elegant Santo Stefano district of Bologna, near the Two Towers and the historic center.
Located on the first floor of a historic building without an elevator, the apartment opens onto a living room with a double sofa bed, a dining table, a TV, and an open-plan kitchen fully equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, and a kettle. The uniqueness of the apartment is the fresco on the ceiling depicting a mythological scene of the wedding of Bacchus and Ariadne. The room has a queen-size bed, a wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Bologna, known as the "Dotta" because it is the seat of the oldest university in the West, the "Grassa" for its excellent food and wine and the "Rossa" color that characterizes the historic center, is a wonderful city of art, culture, and commerce. Its soul lies in its medieval historical center, which is among the largest in Europe and full of taverns, shops, and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of arcades. In the historical center is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of the medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are Giambologna's Neptune Fountain and the Medieval Towers, the Asinelli, and the Garisenda, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in the numerous museums, galleries, and religious buildings. It is impossible to leave Bologna without tasting its food and wine products, including mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla Bolognese accompanied by the well-known DOC wines of the Colli Bolognesi! Rich in exhibitions, fairs, and cultural events, Bologna is a city that can surprise all year round.
The central train station is 2.5 km away, while the airport is a 20-minute away.
