The Sparrow Hotel downtown Boise Idaho

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Boise, and is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the capitol. There are many restaurants and shops nearby as well. Unfortunately for my stay, there is a new building under construction across the street, so it was a bit noisier than I was used to, and my stay was from March 13-16, 2025. I enjoyed the location and proxmity to so many food options and entertainment options.

This was my second time staying here and i fell in love with it the first time and had to stay again. Everyone that’s helped me was so kind it’s reasonably priced and it’s perfect walking distance for all the fun down town experiences.

The property is an excellent location in downtown Boise. Two blocks to the Idaho Arena and close to shopping and numerous dining establishments. Rooms were small, but exceptionally clean and more than adequate. Beds were comfortable, and toiletries were high end. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with 24 hour access by phone, text, or in person. Onsite food truck and small cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for relaxing and socialization. In room coffee was from a local roaster down the street.

Worth the price but…

I thought it was well worth their rates. Was very surprised when I saw they had a charger for my hybrid and other electric cars gratis. The styling is for people younger than me, but it was still really nice. The only things that threw me off a bit was the heater/ac right next to the bed (and it was loud) and the garbage pick up at 5am outside my window.
