Worse experience ever, do not book here.
This was my first time using vrbo. I was looking forward to staying at this location as I put a lot of work into selecting it.
Prior to my arrival, I only received an email with the location of the property. I had no communication with the propery manager, or received any additional info about the check-in process.
I arrived in Bogota at 3am after a long flight.
I was dropped off at property and attempted to check in. To my surprise and the security guards, he could not find a reservation or even my name.
After about approximately 1.5 Hours of sitting in a cold lobby waiting for an answer from one of the many property managers, it became clear i was not going to be allowed in the property and I was on my own.
For those who have never been to Bogota, having to gather your bags at 430 am to venture out to find a place to stay is not ideal. You can easily become a target of crime and get robbed.
I definitely hold the property manager responsible for putting me in that dangerous situation.
Vrbo staff also attempted to get a hold of the manager to no avail. This property should not be allowed to continue to be listed, as it put the safety of its costumers at risk.
Unless your idea of a vacation includes the possibility of not being allowed into the place you reserved and paid in full, and having to push your luggage in the middle of the night or day on the streets and be subjected to being robbed, i would stay away from renting at this place.
