Bad experience and poor service at the check-in!

The hotel was good and new. However the check -in was bad due to unfriendly staff and poor service. It looks like the young receptionists need training in customer service. Also, as gold member, I was not offered early check-in. So I had to leave my luggage and return back at 3pm. Regarding breakfast, it was average compared to Germany high standard of breakfast.

Schönes Hotel in ausgezeichneter Lage

Das Hotel ist sehr neu! Dementsprechend sind die Zimmer neu, modern und großräumig! Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, denn das Hotel liegt in der Nähe vom Ruhrstadion und von Starlight Express (ca. 5 Gehminuten). Das Frühstück lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen! Das Hotel befindet sich allerdings in einer Parkverbotszone! Das Schild wird sehr leicht übersehen! Daher sollte man die Parkflächen vor dem Hotel nicht nutzen, ansonsten riskiert man eine teure Überraschung! Aus diesem Grund sollte man auf der größeren Straße seitlich vor dem Hotel parken (kostenlos) oder das Parkhaus des Hotels nutzen! Wenn man dies berücksichtigt, hat man einen angenehmen und entspannten Aufenthalt in Bochum!

I tried this hotel based on the excellent comments but it did not work for me. From difficulties to check in to a old man having an inappropriate behavior with a young lady almost naked in the restaurant area yesterday night and a breakfast area not able to serve any kind of cooked eggs this morning. Bad timing maybe that plays against the hotel but my honest feedback.
