Shades Cottage is one of the first guesthouses built in Belmont and managed by Newton Johnson (locally known as Bigga) and his family. The guesthouse is surrounded by a lovely yard, and you will love its cool, clean and quiet atmosphere.
On property there are two guesthouses. One is more like a cottage with two bedrooms (one room with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a bathroom, patio, dining room and a small kitchen area. The other cottage have two double bed rooms, a big patio, two toilets and a shower. Also on property you have access to your own private bar where you can sit and enjoy a cold Ting, a smoothie or even better an icy cold JAMAICAN BEER!
Located only a sixty yards from the beautiful seaside, an ideal place for your Jamaican experience; rest, beauty, comfort, and a chance to meet with the local villagers.
Our guesthouse is dedicated to the comfort of our guests. You can place your orders with us at anytime and we will prepare, or fetch you the meal that you desire.
Shades Cottage is surrounded by beautiful tropical fruit trees and the owner himself gives you a welcome tour of his garden. Come and experience and enjoy this all natural part of Jamaica.
