This lovingly-crafted post & beam artist’s home is located on Dunn Town Rd., a scenic laneway that leads to the island’s quiet west side beach coves. This location is a glorious refuge from the busyness of summer..the spacious, open-plan first floor of the house, offers a well-equipped country kitchen, two comfortable living areas (one with TV), a pretty dining alcove surrounded by windows, and a full bath.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms (one queen/two doubles), a cozy lounge area with vintage velvet sofa, and a full bath. The master bedroom offers distant ocean views…... *Please note that guests are to supply their own linens (sheets & towels may be easily rented/ delivered locally).
Outside, there is a variety of seating for outdoor dining on the covered porch & deck, a gas grill, and a clothesline for drying laundry & beach towels. A fabulous outdoor shower surrounded by hydrangea is a true oasis not to be missed!
Make yourself comfortable in this vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. Conveniences include a phone, as well as a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.

perfect BI property

quintessential block island property... natural, beautiful property and home clearly lovingly cared for with vintage furniture, art, plants... Just the right size for our family of 4, tucked away but accessible to everything we love about this island. We can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed our time. The house was very comfortable for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked!! It even had a pot large enough for 6 lobsters

We had a great week. Location is very nice—a bit far from the crowd, nice walk to ocean with great views, from door. Yard is an oasis, house is cozy, clean, full of character. Great communications.

Enchanting!

Had the MOST wonderful time at West Side Story. Lots of space. And everything you could possibly need right there at your fingertips. Incredible yard and decks with many different places to sit and read a book or just relax or dine outside. Amazing outdoor shower. Magical butterfly hedge with bees, butterfly’s and hummingbird clear wings. Lovely sunsets. Lots of privacy. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It couldn’t have been a better vacation.

Magical Block Island

I am madly in love with Block Island - the beaches, riding bikes along the rolling hills, the sense that it's a place that time kind of forgot. Our experience at this house was wonderful and the house was very special.

Amazing week away

Our family of four had a wonderful week at this beautiful property on Block Island. The house was tucked down in a private spot; the trees and hydrangeas were out of a fantasy novel; the property manager Lynn was fantastic at communicating and helping us out; and the house was full of great books, furniture and art. The location was a great jumping spot to rocky beaches and both harbors. Thanks for a great stay!!
