Blanco Valley Lodge (BVL) is a recently completed hill country vacation home, designed to provide families and groups a safe and relaxing place to be together. Comfortable accommodations, privacy, spectacular Hill Country views, an open floor plan, and a peaceful stretch of the Blanco River allow guests to gather and entertain in a stress-free way. Just one hour from Austin and San Antonio, 25 minutes west of Wimberley, and 10 minutes East of Blanco, BVL is nestled on 9 acres and is a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday, holiday, or anniversary, gather the girls or the boys, or your families and friends, your co-workers or team members, and enjoy time in the hill country.

The gated property includes a 6,000-square foot luxury home, 1,100 square foot guest house, and over 4,700 square feet of outdoor decking outfitted with tiki torches, hot tub, fire pit, Texas shaped pool, washer pits, and basketball goal.

The main house floor plan includes 4 spacious bedrooms, a bunkhouse loft, four full bathrooms, a dining hall with two 16-foot farmhouse tables, fully-equipped kitchen, game room, large gathering spaces with three fireplaces, and numerous windows to enjoy the view and watch kiddos swim and play outside. Attached to the main house is a guest house with its own fully-equipped kitchen, living area, and two guest rooms, each with private full baths. Both houses feature big walk-ways, let in great natural light, and all the beds are made with luxury linens.

The kitchen and dining spaces in the main house were designed to entertain a large group but allow for everyone to feel included and comfortable. Guests will find plenty of counter space for prepping as well as bar space for socializing as meals are brought together. All amenities were purchased in 2017 and include a commercial ice maker and fridge, 4 ovens, large island, oversized pantries, dinner, drink, and silverware for 40, multiple Keurig’s and coffee pots and numerous large serving platters. Our indoor dining space has an incredible view of the Blanco River and comfortably seats 32 adults with plenty of space for additional seating, movement, catered meals, or for presentations and demonstrations.

Guests activities include walking right into the Blanco River, swimming in the pool, gathering around a movie or big sporting event, playing pool, ping pong, foosball, shuffle board, or card and board games. BVL is a great place to escape the distractions of daily routine and focus on your family, enjoy time with your friends, or collaborate and commit to a mission or goal for your particular group or small business.
