Fantastic clean hotel and the staff were lovely. We did have a police visit to arrest someone smoking weed and another couple arguing for hours but I don’t feel these are a negative on the hotel and its staff as I’m sure these people don’t live in the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Rooms lovely and even though the couple were arguing there was no other noise. Not paper thin walls like other hotels where you can hear toilets flush etc. We will definitely be staying the next time we visit relatives in Darwen x

On arrival, the surrounding wasn't great as we expected. It was too noisy and gypsies were staying at the car park. We were concerned about the safety of our car. We didn't feel safe to leave the car at the car park. But hotel room was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable room, but rude and unwelcoming staff at checkin. The restaurant was a joke: I waited over 45 minutes for my lasagne, which eventually arrived with 2 small, thin slices of garlic bread and just a spoonful of lettuce/onion ‘salad’. I have stayed here several times before, but this was probably my last time: I’ll spend my money somewhere else, that deserves it.

Spoilt by young children, around 9/10 years old, not being supervised, running up & down the corridor, kicking doors & generally shouting and swearing until after 11pm. Otherwise good - when we spoke to Amy about it in the morning she was very apologetic and understanding and said it was not a normal thing - apparently some of the adults were in the bar until 11.45pm. After this explanation we will seriously consider staying again when the need arises.
