Great stay in Birmingham

Walking distance to eat @ Uptown Cantina was fun and the concert @ Coca Cola Amphitheater. Very nice hotel and staff were friendly during our visit. Loved the workout room and breakfast was good.

Josh the valet person had a great attitude but everyone else attitude and friendliness was below average. The room was HOT!! Breakfast we sweated the whole time while eating felt like we were in the kitchen.

Came in and went to the restaurant to eat dinner at 8. The staff said they are closing early it was quiet and they wanted to go home. Leaving us with no food on the premises. Bedroom floors are filthy and stained, empty conditioner in the shower, fridge in room so loud had to be unplugged. Valet was great, the outside of the building is beautiful. Definitely a catfish situation. Beautiful in the pictures and from the outside. This should be a 2 star hotel.

Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working properly the first night. When I returned the second night, the front desk had box fans for those who requested one. The office staff was very friendly and I loved the history about the hotel.

I booked a double queen room for 3 teenagers and myself. When I got there to check in, they had no double queens left. Only a king with a pullout. Frustrating to say the least….nice property tho and lots of breakfast options.

Room 508

There was no parking, the only parking at the place was valet only and you had to pay, otherwise you had to ride around and find a spot on the street. Breakfast was suppose to be till 9:30, in which it was all cleaned up and gone by 9:10. The a/c didn’t work in the room, set on 60 for 2 days but never got colder than 76, had to run the box fan that was supplied.
