Luxury, Style and History

This hotel was great. We loved that it survived Hurricane Katrina, one of the very few, and it was both historic and lmodern luxury at the same time. Style with specialty martinis!

There was a small amount of miscommunication with a few desk clerks per Management but in all EVERYTHING was very positive and helpful...We will return there! It also appeared the pool was closed by exits to it but Management advised it was open through a side gate that we didn't see!

We stayed in the newer rooms… They were excellent … vibrant airy and contemporary decor. The balcony overlooked the parking lot .. but you still had a beach view… I am happy we made the decision to book this property over the casino resorts

The air conditioning didn’t work. Shower door would not stay closed. No way to charge phone. Just very disappointed in what I thought was a high end hotel. Try to get adjustment on my bill and they said they couldn’t. I definitely think twice before I go there

Very nice vintage hotel. Well kept. Wish the cleaning staff would keep the hallways clear of carts, however. Had to dodge them every day. Ruins the ambiance.
