I hadn’t stayed at The IP since the early 2000’s. I loved the renovations! I got a really good deal on my room rate, plus I was able to use some rewards points I had. Admittedly, I didn’t have very high expectations based on past experience, but I was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff were courteous and even the employees in the gift shop were friendly. This was just an overnight getaway, but I’m now inclined to plan longer stays at The IP in the future! Everything was very clean, stocked, and in working order (which can be hard to come by these days)!

I booked non smoking room but itbwas stillnsmoking bad where instayed af 28th floor. I guess it is the disatvantage of having casino. Also shower head was not properly, it was low on pressure. Poor quality of maintenance

I mistakenly booked a smoking room because I didn’t think there were anymore smoking hotel rooms. When the receptionist heard my surprise she did nothing to remedy my situation. The room was clean but it stunk like cigarettes. Additionally we had a snack in the sports bar and there were a bunch of drain flies buzzing around the bar

Very confusing how to checkin, where things were, no where in the place seemed to truly be smoke free. Games were not even giving small payouts. The whole trip was a bust in our opinion.

Room was clean and nice. Little things add up though. Shower diverter valve did not work properly resulting in weak water flow to shower head. No daily housekeeping; request for coffee replenishing required 2 trips and still did not get items requested & verified by phone. No buffet dining option.

Would recommend a stay at the IP. Renovations were in progress durning our visit. That is the only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 star rating. A little inconvenient, but understandable. A clean, safe environment with helpful staff and fun activities.
