The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests:

- Second Bedroom: Two queen beds, a closet, and a TV.
- Third Bedroom:This hidden bedroom is tucked away behind a secret cabinet on the ground floor, making it the perfect hideout for little adventurers. Inside, you'll find cozy twin bunk beds

You're able to access all areas of the house with the exception of a few closet spaces that are locked with owner's belongings, cleaning supplies etc. However, there is ample space for you to store your personal belongings during your stay.

The best way to reach out to us is through the booking platform as our messages are monitored. We typically respond within 30 minutes during the hours of 7am-10pm.

Moonridge is Big Bear's most desirable neighborhood, known for its forest surroundings, spectacular views and close proximity to all activities. Great hikes in walking distance! Big Bear Lake is SoCal's year round 4 season resort town, just a few hours outside of Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Palm Springs, as well as a great destination trip from Phoenix and Las Vegas. Within minutes of our cabin you will find Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Summit Resort, Big Bear Lake, Alpine Zoo, Big Bear Lake Village, Scenic Walks, Hiking Trails, Mini Golf, Golf, Go Karts, Horse Back Riding, Kayaks, Boating, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Sledding and much more.

Parking: there are 3 parking spots on the driveway. Please don't park on the street, as you may get fined hefty by code enforcement or towed (especially on snow days).

Snow:
Please know that we all LOVE IT when it snows, however, understand that it is your responsibility to get to the cabin and to vacate the cabin on your departure date at 10am (unless a late checkout was previously agreed to) . No refunds will be made if you decide to leave early or for some other reason could not make it to the cabin due to the weather.

Make sure you have snow chains/tires - it is a mandate set by the officials of Big Bear/San Bernardino County. The road leading up to our Cabin is in certain parts steep.

We have a contract with local snow plowers to clean the driveway and the steps leading to the front door. Please understand that on snow days, they will be busy and it can take the entire day for them to make it to the house. Additionally, we will not plow the back decks and the hill behind the house. Please be careful on the steps as it might get slippery or icy. There is a snow shovel to take care of some areas yourself if needed.

Public transport: Uber/Lyft are not as common on the mountain.

House Rules for Jaspers Hideaway:
- Maximum Occupancy: 7 guests. Exceeding this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
- Parking: Limited to 3 vehicles in designated spots only. No street parking.Illegally parked cars may result in towing at the guest’s expense
- Pets: $25/night per pet. You must clean up after your pet inside and outside of the home. .
- Smoking: No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or illegal drugs on the property. This includes inside and outside areas.
- Parties/Events: No parties or filming. Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Fireworks/Fire: No fireworks or open fires allowed.
- BBQ: Use the propane grill only. Charcoal or lighter fluid is prohibited.
- Damage: Guest is responsible for repair/replacement costs for any damage to the property.

- Check-in: After 4:00 PM
- Check-out: Before 10:00 AM
- For early check-in/late checkout, contact the host in advance for approval (additional fees may apply).
-Trash Disposal: Please use the designated outdoor containers for all trash. Do not leave any waste behind, including items in the fridge
- Refunds: Weather conditions may affect accessibility. No refunds for travel disruptions, power outages, or other nature-related events.

- Eviction: Guests who engage in disruptive or unlawful behavior may be evicted without a refund and may also be subject to city-issued citations

Other Things to note:
As required by Big Bear Lake policy (not ours), you'll need to agree to and sign the City of Big Bear Lake's "Good Neighbor Policy" before gaining access to the house. We’ll also need to verify your identification. This process can be completed electronically, or you can visit our check-in office if you prefer.
