A great week in Appledore

We have just returned from a great week in Appledore. The large apartment was well equipped with comfy beds and powerful showers. It is ideally located to explore Appledore with beautiful views of the quay and estuary. It was perfect to pop downstairs to the Deli below for fresh pastries for breakfast and to explore neighbouring areas either by foot, car or by the little ferry across to Instow. We booked dinner at The Yard (Tapas) and The Flame Factory (pizza) in Appledore well in advance and would recommend both. We would also recommend the Coffee Cabin, which do great sandwiches and coffee. We really enjoyed the walk along the coast path to the beach at Northam Burroughs and the beach at Croyde and the village of Clovelly are definitely worth a visit. Overall a perfectly situated apartment providing an excellent base to explore beautiful North Devon.

Appledorable

Perfect location for exploring Appledore & surrounding areas. Not the quietest of locations as situated on a bustling quayside but by no means too noisy. Surprisingly spacious apartment, comfortable, especially the beds. Fantastic views of the estuary. Kitchen is well appointed & equipped. Super showers! We loved exploring Appledore & Instow, lots of great places to eat & drink. Great beaches & dog walks nearby. Don’t leave without tasting Hocking’s ice cream 😊

Staycation in Appledore

Right in the heart of this quaint little fishing village, directly above "John's" providore is this two bed apartment. Perfect for our break away. We were 2 adults and 2 children (girls) who bunked in together, but apparently the main bedroom can be made into twin?! We spent most days at the beach or touring the area, it was a good base.
