The ac was not working well, it becomes pretty warm during summer. The toilet could be cleaner. Great location, okay breakfast for the price. Breakfast place can be very crowded between 8-9:30 during weekdays

Great location for tourism and travel around city, shopping malls and dining options a short walk away. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and tidy. This would have been a 5 star review but being a larger gent I should have booked twin beds a bit wider. However would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for other travellers.

A good choice.

The Scandic is generally a good choice. We travelled with our two kids and booked a room with bunk bed for the little ones. The room was spacious and clean. As the hotel name suggested we expected Scandic design, which we like. However, we could have done without the IKEA quality as some of the furniture had visible signs of wear. The old school bath tub with a half glass water screen and the fixtures in the bathroom didn’t help the impression of a slightly dated hotel. Nothing shocking, but also nothing to write home about. The price was ok though, so I shouldn’t complain too much. The service was very good, courteous and always helpful. The location is excellent with easy access to public transportation. The breakfast buffet deserves a honorary mentioning: excellent!! Don’t miss it! A lot of choice. Good quality produce. From scrambled eggs, to sunny side up, or hard boiled eggs or even soft boiled eggs. A station to juice fresh fruit to your liking. A kids station. Pancakes. Salmon. Fruit bar. Proper coffee (cappuccino, etc). Flaky croissants… and much, much more!

the staff was friendly and helped all our needs. the bathroom was pretty dirty. the shower still had hair from the previous people all over the floor and on the shower head. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the AC not going low was definitely a little difficult. The staff were extremely helpful though and the location was perfect for us

The room was clean and bigger than expected for single occupancy. Short walk to Potsdamer Platz. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was €27 (€24 if booked in advance) which is expensive but comparable to what other hotels charge I guess. Overall a good experience

Room was clean and hotel was conveniently located above a U-bahn station. Room was very basic, rates were expensive and hotel was extremely busy, meaning breakfast etc was a chore. Online presence makes the hotel appear like a boutique, individual property but is actually a hige conference hotel with thousands of rooms. No obvious Scandinavian influence other than some poor decor.

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Good service from the staff. The room is well appointed with good bed and an ample bathroom. Only had trouble with the ac is it struggled to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.

Great staff, good location. Good food and coffee outlets nearby. Nice rooms. Wonderful breakfast although coffee machine beans flavour not quite to my taste. Just a couple of niggles; arrived Saturday and left Monday but no housekeeping service? The shower handset holder was broken and head flopped down, so showering meant holding the handset constantly.
