Even though it appeared in every publication and written in the hotel guest book there is no airport shuttle service in the hotel

It closes today

I have stayed here four times in the last year. It's a good value but they are closing today and the owners told their employees only 5 days ago that they were losing their jobs today. Pretty rotten if you ask me

Visited Berlin for a couple of days and needed a base fairly near the city which was not too expensive.

Room smelled bad, otherwise fine

Stayed here for one night before continuing my trip from Schönefeld. One train stop from the airport or 10 minutes by taxi, the location is pretty ok if you have an early flight. It’s far from Berlin centre, though. Our room in the 9th floor was spacious and it had a big balcony. The view wasn’t spectacular – not much to see there – but at least it was quiet. We had asked for a non-smoking room but got a smoking one. The smell was strong and very unpleasant and afterwards all our clothes smelled bad. The breakfast buffet was not included but we took it anyway. It was basic but tasted good. Would stay here again if I had an early flight but not in a smoking room.

I wanted a hotel close to Berlin SXF Schonfield airport, and it is 1 stop away by S bahn train. Not clearly marked from the station. There is an airport shuttle for a few euros, but doesn't operate on a Sunday. Cheap hotel, but serves the purpose. There are no shops around there to buy even basic amenities. One kebab shop within 20-50 mts.

Convenient to the airport and really large room

only one station away from the airport, and the room is much bigger than I thought. It was a nice stay, the service was good too. The only thing is that they do not always have airport shuttle, but since the train station is walking distance, so it is fine if you don't have a lot of luggage.

The hotel situates very near the railway station and the next stop is the Berlin International airport. Very convenient. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a electric cattle.

I was staying one night and wanted to be near the airport. The start rating on this hotel is definitely a 2 at best and not the 3 that was listed. The neighborhood is very shady. I will not stay here again!

The hotel is pretty basic but inexpensive and close to the airport. They have a shuttle to the airport (which was not running on the evening that I have arrived but took me to the airport next morning). The neighborhood looked scary in the night, so I did not venture out and had dinner at the hotel which was just like the hotel - decent and inexpensive albeit very basic. The room was clean and spacious. I don't think I would take it for a longer stay but for overnighting prior to an early flight, this was perfect.

Old hotel close to Schoenefeld airport.

Hotel looked like a converted block of 1950's flats. Room was clean and adequate. Facilities were OK with a bar and restaurant. It is OK as an overnight airport hotel but that's about all. We were there for 2 nights on business and would not have wanted to have been there any longer. Beware to specify a non-smoking room if you don't smoke!

I had an awful experience with this hotel. I had booked a room by accident and when I decided to cancel on the same day and have a refund, I was told I couldn't and basically got the run around. I called back several times including Hotels.com to find a solution but no one seemed to care. Poor customer service and ethic.

Business days in Berlin

I needed a hotel during Easter time - so price was the most importatnt thing because the city was crowded and my favourite was already fully booked. Rooms are all right, for taking a trip from the airport it's a good location - for staying in town it's too far from the city centre.

Convenient for business in Berlin

I used this hotel for a quick overnight stay having arrived late at the airport. The taxi took maybe two minutes to drive there. On arrival I was greeted by friendly staff who spoke excellent english and who thoroughly explained all the hotel facilities. I was offered a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms. My room was a spacious double with large windows, decor a little tired but all perfectly comfortable with a good bed. The shower worked fine. Breakfast was served in the restaurant downstairs and was an ordinary breakfast buffet selection. Checkout was fast and the receptionist was kind enough to give me directions to my destination in the city.

Good value, very clean hotel, near transit

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel, good value for the price. Two minute walk to transit station and a twenty minute ride to the centre of Berlin.

Ok for a 1 night stay

If you need to stay close to the airport this hotel is not such a bad option, since all hotels in the area seem the same - not quite fancy. The room was very spacey and it was clean, but looks truely old. There were no bath supplies and no fridge(mini bar). The staff were very friendly and nice. It's just ok for one night.

Fine as a brief stop close to the airport

We used this hotel as a stop-off prior to our flight back home and it suited this purpose being only a few metres from the train station which was one stop from the airport. My main complaint about the hotel was that my room smelt badly of cigarette smoke....it was so bad that if we had elected to stay longer I would have had to have asked for another room or indeed changed hotels.
