This large ( 1800 sq feet )apartment is in a neighborhood where you can shop for all things of daily life but is also close to the old West city center ( Kudamm ). The metro is 200 m away and you absolutely need NO car.
Wilmersdorf is one of the best areas to live in Berlin and the house where the apartment is is very well maintained
The apartment is bright and has high windows. It has a small balcony for 3 where you can have sun from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. for breakfast shielded by a big tree.
The bathroom is very large with a spacious walk in shower and 2 wash basins a toilet a bidet and a tub. It is also the place where a washer and dryer is housed in a tower arrangement.
The kitchen island is for 4 people and the adjacent table in the kitchen has space for another 4/5 people.
The kitchen island is granite also has a dishwasher and a ceramic cook top.
the Master bedroom is connected to the bathroom.
There is also a guest toilet for the second bedroom with king size beds in both bedrooms.
The living room can be partitioned and still is very large. One can move the additional sleep couch to this partitioned room to have an additional ( 3rd ) separate bedroom. 3 metro stations are close, One of the supermarkets is open from Monday 8 a.m to Saturday 11 p.m.

Great apartment, great location

With three Uban stations within a couple of blocks, it is easy to get anywhere in Berlin. Also a great shopping street is only a few doors away.The apartment was comfortable even during a heat waves. And the staff was amazing at solving problems quickly.

Fantastic Alt Bau Apartment

The property was huge with amazingly high ceiling. There were 2 bathrooms and washer and dryer. A modern kitchen and the building had an elevator! A big plus. The neighborhood is amazing. Restaurants and shops within a short walking distance. There is a church next door and you can hear the church bells ring daily.

Comfortable and nice apartment, positive energy, excellent neighborhood

This is a grand and comfortable place, full of light, spacious rooms, full kitchen, and nice and clean bathrooms and restrooms. The walls are decorated with the owners own art work and replicas from modern and abstract arts giving it a personal and distinct vibe. We enjoyed the vinyl Rock and classic music records in the living quarters and the extensive opera and classic collections on a CD player in the kitchen. Kitchen was full, functional, and inviting for a big family to sit around, cook and entertain. The coffee maker proved to be an excellent addition and a life saver. Although this kitchen can definitely benefit from a nicer kettle and boiler for making tea. The place is conveniently situated in the beautiful Wilmersdorf neighborhood with every imaginable necessity for living, travel, entertainment or tourism in walking distance or easily accessible. You will be immediately immersed in the living experiences of a high scale Berliner family. We enjoyed the comfort and the positive energy emanating from the apartment itself and its location. The apartment manager and host was very nice, available, helpful, and welcoming. We will return, and recommend it.

Lovely Apartment

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a great, spacious apartment that comfortably fit 6 people. It was well located near shops and the metro. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The host was easy to communicate with and all went well with check-in and check-out.

Great stay in Berlin

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The apartment is huge and had plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. The apartment has a fun and unique style that we really liked. The apartment is up a couple stories but there's an elevator that was great when we had to move luggage up or down. The apartment is walking distance from subways and grocery stores which was very convenient. We had a great time!

Fabulous location for family visit to Berlin.

Property is perfectly situated in a safe, quiet neighborhood with easy access to groceries, restaurants, bakeries and public transport. Perfect for our family after a day of touring around Berlin. Property manager Thomas met us at both checkin and checkout and was very helpful and friendly. Beware of ground floor resident who will promptly and firmly reprimand anyone who steps into the building's courtyard for any purpose other than disposing trash. She claims the courtyard is only for "her" use. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Comfortable, Nice Neigborhood, Great Host

My wife and I stayed here four nights and had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very spacious and our host was very prompt in communicating with us and any questions. The only comment is that the refrigerator does not have ice. Fortunately, their is a large supermarket 3 blocks away where we were able to buy groceries and ice.

Beautiful property in great location

I stayed here with my family for the weekend of the Berlin marathon, and we really enjoyed both the apartment and the area. We had a great host who was very helpful. There is a lovely little bakery just a few doors down, and some great restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Apartment in Wilmersdorf

As a family of 5 we loved the apartment and would happily stay there again. Wilmersdorf is a good base for Berlin and is a lovely area with useful amenities close by. Thomas, who showed us around the apartment, was extremely helpful and welcoming and we felt at home right away....exactly what we hoped for.

Large apartment in nice area of Berlin

Our family of four enjoyed this apartment for our 5 days in Berlin. The building is more than a century old and has old-world charm combined with modern bathrooms and kitchen, including an impressive expresso/latte/coffee machine. Bakery, cheese shop, and wine store are steps away and public transportation is convenient for trips to Museum Island or Tiergarten. We rented a car at the Berlin airport and were able to park on the street in front of apartment. You need plenty of euro coins for the meters (10 Euro per day, 9-19 on weekdays). Apartment was clean and it was easy to work with Thomas, the unit manager. Highly recommend this apartment if you want to experience life in residential Berlin.

Wonderful Apartment in Berlin

We stayed for 5 nights in this large, beautiful apartment. It is on a lovely street with U-Bahn stations very close by and lots of wonderful restaurants. Thomas was great with meeting us at the apartment, answering initial questions, and even helping us book a cab to the airport for our flight home. The wi-fi wasn't working (an issue with the cable company, not the apartment) and Thomas bought us a temporary card and stick to use with wi-fi on it - so you can see guests are very well looked after. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment clean. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Berlin. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!

Great apartment in convenient neighbourhood

We stayed for a week in this huge apartment in a convenient and safe neighbourhood in Berlin. It is only a short walk to the U-Bahn, supermarkets and quite a few excellent restaurants. The apartment is clean and well-equipped, beds are comfortable and the lift was a great bonus for tired legs at the end a day of tourin around Berlin. We bought a weekly ABC ticket for transport (from a vending machine with an English button ... too easy) which covered out to Sachsenhausen and Potsdam. We had a great week in Berlin and recommend this apartment.

Great experience staying at this apartment

We (2 adults and 2 children (ages 11 and 10) stayed for a week, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is ideal since it's close to two subway stations and several bus stops, and it is only two stops away from the subway station "Kurfürstendamm". The apartment, located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood, is very spacious, well equipped, and cozy. All in all, it was a great experience to stay at this apartment.

Great place (just a few slight reservations)

This was a fantastic apartment in a beautiful old West Berlin Kiez. Wonderful, tree-lined streets, but also lively and diverse. (We loved the walk up Fasanenstrasse to Bahnhof-Zoo, about 20 minutes; or to Savigny Platz.) Bio-Backhaus a few doors down, great fruit/veggie place on the corner, and my favorite little Italian eatery two blocks away (Güntzelstrasse and Uhlandstrasse). Wolfgang always responded quickly and Thomas was helpful with the keys and initial questions. The apartment is slightly oddly laid out (no place to store clothes in our bedroom), but roomy. We had different guests and invited friends over for dinner. Great kitchen (though why the tiny refrigerator without any freezer???). -- Some minor problems: The neighbor upstairs stomps around like a horse. If you're out most of the day and evening, no problem. But we worked in the apartment and it was annoying. I tried, very very politely to address him on it, and was rebuffed. I guess that's apartment living. -- There was work being done in the building, which was also annoying. Wolfgang wasn't responsible, of course, but he did give us a reduced rent, which was nice. -- So, overall, I'd recommend it as a beautiful apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. We'd return, even though there were a few negatives.

Beautiful Berlin apartment

This is a very large, comfortable apartment. The owner couldn't have been nicer. He was very available and accommodating. Everything worked well, the wi-fi, the coffee maker, the washer/dryer. The apartment is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood near Kudamm. There are two U-bahn stations nearby. The neighborhood itself has very nice cafes and restaurants and a farmer's market on Saturdays. We had an amazing Vietnamese meal at Ahn Ba down the street from the apartment toward the Berlinerstrasse U-bahn stop. You are, however, in a real neighborhood not in the hub of things so that is something you have to want. We found it very relaxing.
