Berlin

I personally loved the location, walkable to restaurants, cafes and pharmacies. Our room was quaint with a window facing the back garden, it was beautiful and quiet. I would recommend a stay there for sure.

Lovely Guesthouse (not quite hotel in my opinion)

I would say this is more of a guesthouse than an hotel as reception is not manned 24hrs and it is on the 4th floor of an apartment building reached by a rather antiquated lift (which I got stuck in on the first night but managed to get it working after ringing the emergency number!). When I arrived, I couldn't get the buzzer system on the front door to work and once you're checked in you have a heavy key fob with 3 keys; front door of building, entrance to hotel and room key. You won't lose them but chunky for carrying around. The positives are the room was spacious (albeit a tiny shower), the staff are charming and so helpful, breakfast buffet is excellent quality and in a lovely room. I didn't realise you could request an omelette or scrambled eggs until 3rd day but was delicious when I had one. There wasn't any aircon but a giant fan in the room. No facilities in the room, so I bought my own kettle but you can access breakfast room anytime (I just like one before I'm dressed) and make your own, together with an honesty sheet to record any drinks or snacks left out. I had a room at the back so nice and quiet. It's a lovely place to stay but if you're on business (as I was) you sometimes need a little more out of hours service.

Excellent location close to train and bus and lots of lovely restaurants. Didn’t partake of breakfast thought it was a bit pricy for what was on offer. Tea and coffee making facilities in room would have been good . Room was lovely very his and comfortable

Ok, wouldn't stay there again though

Small room, very small tv, no Control over the ventilation system in the room, unstable wifi Connection. On the Bright side, comfortable bed, and Clean and big bathroom.

B&B in a section of pre-WW2 Berlin

Located up a cage lift on the 4th floor of a residential building, the room had everything one needs. The part-time receptionist leaves the breakfast room unlocked with wine, fruit,etc available on the honor system. Handy to the S-bahn and U-bahn, and many nice restaurants.

Beautifull lextra large room in Art Nouveau style including the original door handles. The only minus was the lumpy matress.

Loved this boutique hotel

We loved this boutique hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the previous West Berlin. However, it is convenient to public transportation which gets you anywhere you need to go in Berlin rather quickly. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet plentiful. If we were to go back to Berlin we would stay here again.

Es war alles absolut perfekt. Wir konnten schon lange vor check-in unser Gepäck ins Zimmer bringen und dort verwahren lassen, der Kontakt dazu mit dem Hotel im vorhinein war super unkompliziert und freundlich! Die Suite ist wunderschön eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Frühstück war sehr gut und auch hier war das Personal wieder super professionell und aufmerksam. Auch beim Check-Out wurde uns wieder angeboten, das Gepäck bis zur engültigen Abreise zu verwahren, was auch sehr nett war. Wir waren rundum zufrieden!
