Weekend trip to Bergen

Very nice stay at the Clarion Admiral, which has a first class location across the harbour from the UNESCO world heritage Bryggen houses. Lovely views from the room. Bergen harbour area is easily walkable from the hotel. Rooms are modern and well-equipped. No parking on site however - public indoor parking several hundred meters from hotel.

Most aspects of the room were excellent, but there were a few things that were really annoying. The bathroom has absolutely no counter space. The shower door allowed water to cover the entire bathroom floor. There was no place in the room to open up a suitcase. The closet was extremely inefficient.

Exceptional Hotel Stay

We could not have been more satisfied with our stay at Clarion Hotel Admiral. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The restaurant served a delicious and fresh buffet and there was coffee available to us whenever we needed it. The location was also amazing- walking distance from the center of town and right on the water. We would absolutely stay here again, and cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Romantic location

Except for shower drainage issue, which was fixed next day, this place was highly recommendable with Waterfront view and great quiet location but accessible and minutes walk away from Bergen sentrum. Best part is breakfast and would book here again in a heartbeat.
