The nearby Bengtsfors is ideal for excursions, where you can take a trolley ride or a boat trip on the canal. The Tresticklan National Park with its well-developed hiking trails, a visit to the stately Baldersnäs estate or a canoe trip on the Dalsland Canal and at Håverud are also worthwhile experiences.
