High on a hill.

The hotel is up a hill, not too good maybe for older people. Quick check-in. The rooms aren't too big, but the balcony is a nice size. Comfy beds and a decent shower. Room is cleaned every day. You can hear peoples doors slamming all the time! The food is excellent, at breakfast and dinner. There is a huge choice. (if its not warm enough, put it in the microwave) Every morning there are problems with the coffee machines.....be prepared to queue! The staff in the restaurant work very hard and are a credit to the hotel. Get an Uber back to the airport, it's cheaper than a normal taxi. We would recommend the hotel.

Whilst the weather may have been awful the hotel wasn’t. In fact San Fermin was perfect. Great room which looked like it had been refurbished. Big balcony facing the sea. Great walk in shower. Food options surprised me for a 3 star hotel. More than enough choice and quality for anyone. Each night was a themed night at the restaurant. Hotel is up a steepish walk but it’s literally a 5 minute walk to the main road and another 5 minutes to the beach.

First time at the san fermin.

Pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room which was better than i expected. Kettle and tea/ coffee was supplied as well as a litre of water. Reception staff excellent. Only letdown was the food at dinner which was of poor quality and choice.

The photos of the hotel were exaggerated. It was very different from reality. The hotel itself is okay but not as glamorous as presented. The room was nice and comfortable. Very quiet with bath wash and shampoo, which can be very handy as I did not have mine with me. Could not use the smart TV. I asked reception and was told it was not connected and they would not connect it. I suppose it was more of a decoration unless you carry cables with you normally to connect to televisions. Meals- between average and poor. The meals were always either lukewarm or barely hot even after serving straight from the buffet table. The presence of a microwave confirmed they were aware of the issue. Maybe fix the heat/stove issue? So, unless you like lukewarm food, be prepared to constantly have to reheat the meals. In terms of variety- nothing spectacular as most nights I left feeling underwhelmed with the options. A few hits but far and in between. The red jelly on the last night was very sugary. Staff- The reception and restaurant staff were not the most pleasant. Room cleaning, on the other hand, was polite and friendly. The hotel is on a hill as mentioned by other reviewers. You'll need this to get down to the street to get the local buses or up back to the hotel. The train station is about a 14-17 minute walk from the hotel, which takes you directly to the airport. A taxi to the train stn was €5 (as of the time of writing this). Would I return? I don't think so.

The hotel was very nice. In a residential area however so it doesn’t seem like lots of stuff close by but we didn’t explore much. Staff were great. Beds were cozy. Everything was super clean. We stayed for a quick over night before heading to the airport. Would stay again.
