This place is your sign, to TAKE THAT TRIP! It was worth it! I had my 7yo boy with me, which it was probably not the best decision for a "chill" place it was. I wasnt expecting it to be quite like it was, but it was cold and raining & we had a few other things planned so I was perfect for us! There were a few games for us to play. Perfect place for a self care weekend or Date weekend.
This is such a cute and quiet place to stay. We had a great time and when we need another night away, this will be the place. It beats a hotel in every way.
Cutest little dome home....and very clean!! I was worried the height of them would be too short for me and my 6'3" husband....but not at all, plenty of room! Would stay here again!
The domes were such a neat stay when we were in town for a wedding! Everything was clean and nice and the owners even left us some local treats, coffee, and soaps to try from local areas. We were just in and out due to the wedding but overall we were very happy we chose to stay there!
We found the Country Dome Suites looking for a hotel with power after hurricane Beryl. What a gift!
The pictures on the website are accurate - it’s as adorable in person as it is in the pictures. The scenery is amazing, especially for us city folk. We were in suite 111 and the view from our window while we ate or played games was just idyllic.
We stopped in Brenham on our way and picked up a pizza and salad, some snacks, and drinks. We ate our pizza and salad for dinner and reveled in the view.
The next day we went to Belllville. We had no idea what a great town it is! We had coffee at the Gathery. It was the best oat milk latte I’ve ever had! And it’s such a great space. Eclecticly decorated and so comfortable.
We walked from there to the Phenix Blacksmith Shop where my husband forged a knife. It’s an excellent experience! They do a great job of teaching while instructing on what to do. The men there were funny and personable.
From there we did some antique shopping at Nothing Ordinary Antiques. The place is full of treasures! We picked out a few small things to remember our trip.
After that we took a drive through the country roads near the domes. It was just beautiful!
For dinner we went back to Bellville and had burgers at The Hill. The burgers and tots were so good.
We spent our time at the dome chatting or reading or playing games. We loved this time away together.
We cannot recommend the domes enough!
We were on a weekend trip for a concert in College station. It was a nice distance from the venue. The accommodations are great for a weekend or longer. You'll want to be sure to bring food with you to cook because it's a 20+min drive for fast food. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are in the area.
