Clean but very old hotel

Room was clean. But very old. Need to change new shower head & bath tub. Attach bathroom photos with curtain. Can guess how old was this design. Was used to be a bustling distric. Surroundings was always jam.

This is an excellent hotel with the usual high standards of this brand, rooms were of a high standard , the location is very convenient and the staff very very professional There is german brauhuas restaurant on site and a patisserie, would happily stay here again

I’ve stayed at many properties in Beijing over the years and I’ve come to make the Kempinski my top choice. Its location is great and staff are great, but it also has combination of classic elegance and quality that many other hotels lack. It’s not ostentatious, but everything is super high quality from the breakfast to the rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful and I like that is in the river. My only suggestion are that the beds could probably use new mattresses. But they are still quite good.

Wonderful hotel, amazing staff very helpful. Very convenient. Close to the subway easy to get transport. My only issue with this hotel was the air air-conditioning would never get cool. It felt like it was standard and it is really hot in Beijing.
