The room was cold. Heating showing 24 degrees but definitely a lot cooler. Couldn't speak to anyone about it due to how busy front desk was so used express check-out.

Small room and bathroom. But clean with decent hotel facilities
The sofa bed was broken so the hotel staff put a single pull out bed in the room, but that wasn’t enough for our two children.
After attempting to call the front desk numerous times from the room without answer we had to go down to reception. They sent housekeeping who told us there was no way to put another bed in the room and the reason there was a single bed was because the sofa bed was broken. The only option was a room change but our daughter was already asleep and we had unpacked so we didn’t want to do this at 10pm at night. I originally called for the bed change at 7pm and they said they would do it whilst we were out at dinner but it was unchanged when we got home.
We decided it would be easier for one of the children to sleep on the sofa so asked for a single pillow and duvet ( again having to go to reception to request this as they didn’t answer the phone) which took 40 minutes to arrive to the room and required another call.
The hotel staff - ALL that I came into contact with were professional, polite & very very helpful. The room was spotless & extremely comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

We asked for the king bed to be separated into twin beds, both on booking and on arrival. This wasn't done until after midnight and I had to complain twice.

Staff where absolutely fantastic, I just wish they had a smart TV in the rooms.
We thought we had paid for breakfast, but when we arrived it wasn’t included. So we paid £36 for the 2 of us. It was a nice breakfast, but this questionnaire described it as “free”. It wasn’t!
I do also need to say our room was cold and that made it uncomfortable. We mentioned it to reception, and left our heater on full pelt continuously and it seemed to improve. This heater was offset by the aircon which we couldn’t stop blowing out cold air.
We ate dinner at the restaurant and felt it was poor value for the price paid. Service was good but food disappointing for the price.
And, we were nearly charged £48 for parking 25 hours. Luckily Reception sorted it out.
All in all, from the above reasons, for 1 night stay we would try another hotel if we ever visited the NEC again.
Bathroom not clean - missing plug in bath, chain left hanging down the drain and covered in hair and filth from other guests. No attention to detail!
Room a little cold so a heater has been provided- not very eco friendly!!!

The room was fine, but cold. It took me a while to locate the 2 kW heater in the room, after which I could regulate the temperature. There was no hot chocolate, and the water, which seemed to be provided free, was, oddly, in a can! The room was NOT serviced after night one as I would have expected.
