Cooper Mountain Cabin is your perfect escape.
Ideal for friends’ trips, family visits to Portland, or special celebrations.
Set on 15 private acres of lush Oregon forest, this renovated 1976 cabin blends peaceful nature with modern comfort.

Late summer and fall are the best seasons to enjoy the outdoors here, warm days, local farm visits, crisp evenings, and starry skies well into October. Gather around the fire pit, grill dinner, or relax on the balcony with a glass of wine that you discovered from our local wineries.

Inside: high ceilings, a modern rustic vibe, and a fully updated kitchen with granite, tile backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. Gather in the spacious living room with 65" Roku TV, dine together at the large table, or sip coffee while listening to birdsong.

Working remotely? Three bedrooms have private desks, plus a dining table for group work.

You will need a vehicle to find our place and explore the surrounding areas. Since we are tucked into a private forest it's a little tricky to find, but we'll send very detailed instructions when you book with us.
Don't be nervous about the gravel road entrance it looks more daunting than it actually is.
Uber & Lyft are able to pick up and drop off at the cabin, but sometimes need some additional information from the guest since it is on a Private road.
We can also recommend an excellent Shuttle service that we use and are very familiar with the cabin's location and pickup/drop offs from PDX.

If you cancel outside the refund window and we are able to rebook the same dates at equal or greater value, we will issue a partial refund minus a small rebooking fee. We always try to work with guests when possible.
If you’re booking far in advance and unsure of your travel dates, we recommend finalizing your plans before booking, or considering travel insurance to protect your investment.

Please note that this cabin is nestled in a forested area, so you may encounter insects, bees, and other critters, particularly around the fruit trees. We have regular pest control treatments every two months, but this doesn’t guarantee that you won’t spot any pests during your stay, *especially ants or box elder bugs, which can be persistent in Spring and Summer.

Wildlife? Definitely.
Additionally, we often see local wildlife like squirrels, birds, deer, raccoons, owls, garter snakes, and occasionally coyotes. While we’ve never had any concerning encounters, please keep in mind that these animals share the space and may cross your path while you're here.

Family get away!!

When the property description indicates you are tucked away in the forest, make no mistake that’s the case. Drive thru a lovely community, find the “private driveway” sign, follow the road into a proverbial rain forest, including deer about. Round the bend and you are home at your personal treehouse. The “cabin” is nicely appointed, clean and private. Our family of nine loved the space. Kitchen, basement spaces recently updated. Master, second bedrooms updates in the future? Echo was an amazing host, the cabin private, quiet and worlds away (though not really 😌). Magical stay for a family looking to get away, though not too far. Echo, thank you.. Kathy and family

Hidden Gem

Loved what Echo has done with the house. Older houses have so much personality and Echo has really made something out of that. Highly recommended, specially when you're with your friends and family

Hidden and Quiet in the middle of it all

This is a hidden gem in the middle of Beaverton, quiet and private. The cabin is very spacious, comfortable and clean. Extremely impressed with privacy in such a large residential area. I highly recommend this cabin and the hosts. The host were second to none. Don't pass this place up. Will definitely rebook
