It was bearable, but more roach motel than hotel. Dark and dingy room at the back overlooking a swamp-like swimming pool and AC units. Bed reasonably comfortable, pillows (or rather pillow) dreadful. Inconveniently separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast not worth the money really, but the coffee was nice. Host was agreeable and friendly. Sadly this was the only place we could find as most were fully booked. Next time, I’ll look more in advance and get something better.

overnight stay

This hotel is handy opposite train station. It is easy walk to town centre and has a 5 star bistro attached . Food was superb and vine plus service Hotel clean and comfy also rooms warm (february) Will stay again.

Quite good value

If visiting puy du fou in high season hotels are hard to come by. This hotel is a very simple thirty minute journey away and quite good value for money. One up on the cheap chains for breakfast, good sized room with separate bathroom and loo. Rather shabby but clean with comfortable beds. It worked out at about 30 percent more than an Etap for three people including breakfast. Good free parking on road. Hotel is opposite rail station. I would use this hotel again and happily recommend it. However if you are looking for the luxury end pay more.
