Hidden Gem

The family that owns The Heritage Inn are very nice sweet people! The property was very clean, the rooms immaculate!! A hidden, inexpensive, Gem of Baton Rouge!! We will return again!!

The manager is never around, rooms were dirty and falling apart, none of the ice machines worked, fridge didn’t work so we throw our food away.

Worst hotel we ever stayed at.

Arrived late so was too tired to change hotels. Water soaked carpet by bathroom vanity, outlet didn't work, tiles were missing in tub around faucet, moldy ceiling. Advertised as pet friendly and was not. Bed was clean,tv worked and ac was fair. Should have left but were too exhausted to go any further. They should have paid us to stay.

The photos shown cannot be from this property. It's so bad that when I saw it I passed it up because I thought it was a shut-down motel. Everything is in bad shape, dirty, falling apart, smelly or not working. Without a doubt the nastiest place I've seen. I was there less than 5 minutes and just knew I couldn't stay there. Zero refund except for the required $50 cash deposit.

Very Poor!! Go somewhere else

The manager/ front desk rep wasn’t available to do proper check-in, must have been sleeping on the job. I had to call the facility many times, ring the bell and seek for help. Upon getting help, the manager had a bad attitude about a simple mistake of booking for one guest when it was two, and was yelling talking about $10 then $15 for extra person with no concrete price then said it couldn’t be on the card since the room was paid with a card and wanted to hustle money by saying he wanted Cash! Then stated there is no refund, so money loss. Service was horrible!

The front desk staff was most friendly and professional. The surroundings & facility were clean & well kept despite undergoing remodeling. The rooms were very clean & spacious. Will definitely stay again.
