I had a really excellent stay here and one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and clearly part of a recent refurbishment. Everything felt fresh, well decorated, and well looked after. What stood out even more than the room was the customer service. Laura was exceptional. She genuinely couldn’t do enough to help and made the welcome feel personal rather than the usual transactional check-in you get at most hotels. The bar was also great with a large draught selection that caters for everyone. Breakfast was another highlight. The cooked breakfast was generous and beautifully prepared, with plenty of continental options as well. You definitely won’t be leaving hungry. A really enjoyable stay and somewhere I would happily return to.

A wonderful welcome from the moment we entered until the minute we left. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly, and exceptionally helpful. We were given advice on how to get into Bath with all the road closures for the half marathon, the bus timetables were looked up for us and we were even walked out of the hotel to point us to the bus stop. You certainly don’t get this service in any of the chain hotels I have stayed at in Bath previously. In addition to the excellent customer service, the rooms were clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Will definitely be returning when I visit next.
